Well I won't be on as much now due to being made homeless due to shit with my mum. I'll still try and post photos when I can as I took my camera with me. But to all my watchers from share zone chat I won't be on for a while untill I can get the rest of my stuff from home if it hasn't been destroyed. But untill then I'll post the odd thing. Hopefully soon the council will give me and my pregnant other half a proper place to live.

I finally managed to afford a Tamron 90mm macro lens, something I've been wanting for a while.
This year will be the year of pestering insects haha.

So i recently just bought myself the Sony 50mm f/1.8 portrait lens and fuck me sideways what a great lens, for £140 you cannot go wrong for a prime lens at that price. One of the reasons i had been avoiding taking photos of people up untill now was the fact i wanted the right lens for the job, yes the kit lenses can do a decent job but nothing like a proper portrait lens.

so expect a lot more portrait work and such from now on, i'm going to be attending the weekly jam nights at my local so there will always be something added each week. also i will be doing the odd bit of urban exploration with my mate Matt so expect some shots of us fannying about in abandoned buildings and such.

Oh how i do find it pathetic that most nikon owners seem to think they are the best thing in photography all because they own a Nikon. There is not enough time in the day to laugh at these fools, i mean seriously the idea it's the camera that makes you the better photographer is absurd, it's not the camera that makes a great photo it's the person behind it. I've taken countless photos which put some of these "pro" fanboys to shame and i'm using a Sony which they think are "inferior". hell i've taken photos with a damn phone that come out better than the idiots with Nikons, just showing you don't need a really expensive high end camera to take great shots. i'm not saying Nikon make shit camera's what i'm saying is that a lot of Nikon users are retarded cunts with their heads tightly jammed up their own arsehole hahah.

Prime example of this was some idiot i came across saying my Sony's are basicly door stops compared to his Nikon, funny saying that since i've taken so many fantastic photos using my Sony a200 with it's kit lens that isn't too great. i didn't go "oh this camera camera is shit" no i learnt how to adapt to how the lens handles with the camera and such and i you know what? It made me a better photographer as a lot of my photos require little or no after processing due to learning my camera and lenses. Just dissmissing a camera make on the bassis they haven't been going that long or some of the images come out noisy is just fucking stupid, i've seen plently of shots taken with a Nikon that have been really noisy and thought to myself "does this fucker know what he's doing?". But alas half these idiots don't they've either gone to school for it and don't experiment or they just keep it on bloody auto.

It makes me sad when i see idiots proclaiming they are shit hot all because they own a Nikon or a Canon (Canon users being less cuntish though), they all need a slap round the face for their ignorance and stupidity.

and also while i'm on a rant people moaning the background or something in a photo is distracting and telling me "edit that out it will look better" can fuck off also, you'd think if i didn't like something i'd not have posted the damn photo. people that edit shit out of photos because people think it might be "distracting" are idiots, leave it in there don't change a perfect shot because some fucking idiot said it was distracting, tell that dickhead to go fuck themselves and drink a bottle of bleach, no one needs scumbags like that telling you how you should do your art and how it should look like.

So the other day i finally managed to upgrade my tired a200 and bought an a65 with the tax refund i got. this thing is a 24 Megapixel bad boy with 10 fps shooting speed, 1080p/i video at 24 and 50 frames per second, auto HDR so no dicking about in photoshop doing HDR's, and a fuck load of other features which i will be trying out in the next few weeks.
